Product introduction
In the application of membrane separation technology, microporous filtration membrane is the most widely used type of membrane, and it is simple and quick to use. It has the characteristics of large air flux, high particle interception rate, good temperature resistance, resistance to strong acids, strong alkali, organic solvents and oxidants, aging resistance and non-stick, non-flammable and non-toxic, and good biocompatibility. Its materials are divided into two categories: organic and inorganic. In view of the separation characteristics of microporous filter membranes, the application scope of microporous filter membranes is mainly to intercept particles, bacteria and other pollutants from the gas phase and liquid phase to achieve purification, separation, Concentration purposes. For microfiltration, the interception characteristics of the membrane are expressed by the pore size of the membrane. Usually the pore size ranges from 0.1 to 1um, so the microporous filter membrane can separate large-diameter bacteria, suspended solids, etc. It can be used for clarification, security filtration and air sterilization of general liquid materials. Widely used in scientific research, medicine and health, biochemistry, food, energy, microelectronics industry, nanotechnology, environmental protection and other sectors.

Application

This product is mainly used for filtration of mobile phases and samples in chromatographic analysis. It has a good effect on protecting chromatographic columns, infusion pump tube systems and injection valves from contamination. It is widely used in gravimetric analysis, microanalysis, colloid separation and sterility testing. During use, select the appropriate filter membrane according to the sample being filtered.

Imported nylon 66 (Nylon66)



Characteristic:

The membrane imported from the UK originated from the British Membrane Company in 1948.

It has better performance than domestic nylon 6, good hydrophilicity, high strength, high flow rate, high porosity, suitable for most organic solvents and aqueous solutions, high throughput, high quality resistance, high temperature resistance, acidic aqueous solutions and organic solvents. The membrane material has high surface quality, wide drug compatibility, wide range of uses, low dissolution rate, and stable chemical properties.



Applications:

Liquid clarification, sterilizing filtration and particulate filtration

Can be sterilized by high temperature, high pressure or ethylene oxide


Imported polyethersulfone (PES)


Characteristic:

German imported membrane, originated from German membrane company in 1965.

Hydrophilic membranes have high chemical and thermal stability, high mechanical strength, large flux, and high flow rate. Currently, the filter membrane with the highest flow rate is polyethersulfone. The membrane with the lowest protein binding capacity can improve protein recovery due to its low protein adsorption. It is the best choice for ion chromatography. It has wide medicinal compatibility and the lowest dissolution rate.



Application:

Filtration of organisms and serum in the pharmaceutical industry, terminal filtration of antibiotics, etc. Terminal filtration of beverages, wine, etc. in the food industry, terminal filtration of ultrapure water

Can be sterilized by high temperature, high pressure or ethylene oxide.



Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)


Characteristic:

Imported membranes from the United States originated from the American Membrane Company in 1915.

After being treated with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol, it becomes a hydrophilic film and can be naturally moistened. It is resistant to high temperatures, strong acids, strong alkali, organic solvents and oxidants. It has good chemical compatibility and can withstand most chemical solvents.



Application:

For sterilization and filtration of water solvents

Gas sterilization filtration and vacuum filtration

High purity gas filtration for electronic industry

Steam filtration

Sterile exhaust filtration of fermentation tanks, storage tanks, and ingredient tanks in the food industry



Mixed cellulose (MCE)


characteristic:

The membrane material has a smooth surface, light and thin texture, high porosity, good interception effect, good hydrophilicity, large water flux, uniform microporous structure and extremely low adsorption rate. It is not resistant to organic solutions and strong acid and alkali solutions. It is only suitable for aqueous agents. Filtration of drugs or other water solvents, cost-effective.



application:

Sterilization and particle removal in laboratories and small production processes, sterilization and filtration of culture media and culture fluids, and determination of bacterial flora in water bodies



Polypropylene(pp)

characteristic:

Depth filtration, stable physical and chemical properties, good compatibility, high porosity, large dirt holding capacity, capable of backwashing and high temperature sterilization, and good pressure resistance



Application:

Pre-filtration of biomacromolecule precipitates before filtration membrane



Nylon 6 (Nylon6)


Characteristic:

It has good hydrophilicity, high flow rate and low resistance, extremely low extractables, excellent mechanical strength (PET support layer), and particle retention rate of 99.99%.



Application:

Pre-filtration, sterilizing filtration and solid-phase extraction technology of sample mobile phase - liquid chromatography detection application membrane; removal of bacteria, microorganisms and impurities in the food and beverage industry; removal of suspended solids and colloids in the water treatment industry.


Sterilization method:

Sterilizable with gamma rays and ethylene oxide



Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)


Characteristic:

After being treated with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol, it becomes a hydrophilic membrane with extremely low protein adsorption rate. Resistant to chemical corrosion and oxidation.


Application:

Western and Southern transfer and protein sequencing

Sterilization and filtration of liquids such as protein solutions, tissue culture media, antibiotics, etc.
