Specific operations:
1. Fold the filter paper in half twice in a row to form a 90° central angle shape.
2. Put the folded filter paper into three layers on one side and open one layer on the other side to form a funnel shape.
3. Put the funnel-shaped filter paper into the funnel. The edge of the filter paper should be lower than the edge of the funnel. Pour some water into the funnel to make the soaked filter paper fit the inner wall of the funnel. Then pour out the remaining water and set aside for use.
4. Place the funnel with the filter paper on the filter funnel holder, place the filter beaker or test tube under the funnel neck, and place the tip of the funnel neck against the wall of the receiving container.
5. When injecting the liquid that needs to be filtered into the funnel, hold the liquid beaker in your right hand and the glass rod in your left hand. Place the lower end of the glass rod on the lower side of the glass rod, so that the mouth of the cup is close to the glass rod. When the filtrate flows out along the mouth of the cup, then along the glass The rod tilts and flows into the funnel. The liquid level flowing into the funnel should not exceed the height of the filter paper in the funnel.
6. When the liquid flows down through the filter paper along the neck of the funnel, check whether the liquid flows down along the wall of the cup. Otherwise, move the beaker or rotate the funnel so that the tip is firmly attached to the wall of the beaker.
